The Privilege Vendee Globe Special Edition

The Privilège Vendée Globe Limited Edition

Ahead of their 40 year anniversary, Privilège have teamed up with Vendée Globe to develop a limited edition, available across the range.

These limited-edition catamarans have been developed in collaboration with Arnaud Boissières, skipper of Imoca La Mie Caline, to embody the unique spirit of the Vendée Globe and incorporate exclusive elements that celebrate this legendary round-the-world race.

Features include a carbon mast and boom, a specific choice of upholstery, and  the Vendée Globe logo on the gennaker and hull. They combine lightness and strength with cutting-edge materials, top-level weather equipment and a highly precise routing system. They also feature recyclable sails, natural wood finishes and an energy-efficient autopilot, for environmentally-friendly sailing to provide luxurious comfort in a catamaran designed to withstand the most demanding conditions.

They're off!

The Privilège shipyard sits right in the middle of the bustling atmosphere of the Vendee Globe, and excited visitors queued  to show their support and wave off the participants for this year's race as they departed Les Sables on Sunday 10 November.

A passion for life

The Vendee Globe and Privilège where both created 40 years ago by Philippe Jeantot.  For the first time in decades Phillippe Jeantot came back to visit the yard and the Vendee Globe village.  It was moving to see his support for the brand and the race, even after 40 years.
